A clear, comfortable learning space

Your privacy. Your pace.

Here is how this version of Scam Steps works.

No account needed

You can practice without signing up. Exercises use fictional information and do not ask for real passwords, payment details, or security codes.

Progress stays in your browser

Scam Steps stores the most recent completion of each activity, its date, practice mode, and learning-check result in your browser’s local storage. This is not sent to an organization dashboard. You can clear it on the My learning page. People using the same browser profile may see it.

Website requests and optional email

The app does not include advertising or third-party analytics. The service hosting the site may process ordinary request information, such as IP addresses and technical logs, to deliver it. If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. Workshop feedback and the contact form prepare a draft in your email app and are sent only if you send that email. Contact-form entries are not saved on this website.

Optional speech

Call activities include a complete written transcript. Optional playback uses your browser’s speech feature and prefers an on-device English voice when available. Depending on your browser and chosen voice, its provider may process the fictional script to generate audio. We do not request microphone access or record your voice.

Outside resources

The help section links to official resources. Those sites have their own privacy practices. Links inside practice messages and simulated pages stay within the activity.

Accessibility

The interface is designed for keyboard navigation, readable text, visible focus, and written alternatives to audio. You can zoom with your browser and practice without a timer. We are testing and improving accessibility; we do not claim formal conformance certification.
